Cabinets and Countertops · Dillsburg, PA
Cabinets and countertops count as finish work, which generally needs no building permit. Moving the sink or range is different, since changing water, gas or electrical lines needs a permit and an inspection. Utility gas heats only about a quarter of Dillsburg's homes, so a new gas range may mean a propane line. Ask whether the cabinet shop brings in the plumber and electrician or leaves that to you.
