What This Site Is

York County Trusted Pros is an independent directory of contractors and home-service businesses that work in York, Red Lion, Dallastown, Hanover, Shrewsbury, Dover, Spring Grove, Dillsburg, Wrightsville, Stewartstown, Glen Rock, New Freedom, Delta, Manchester and nearby. It is not a contractor, does not perform any work, and is not a party to any agreement between you and a business you find here.

Where Listings Come From

Listings are compiled from publicly available business information and from each business's own website. Descriptions are written for this site. Star ratings and review counts come from Google and are shown as Google reports them. Business details change, and some information here may be out of date or wrong. Confirm prices, hours, licensing, insurance and anything else that matters to you directly with the business before you hire it.

Verified Listings

A Verified listing means that, on the date shown on the listing, a person called the business's references, read its reviews in full, and confirmed its license and insurance where the trade requires them. Verified is a check made at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of the quality, safety, timeliness or price of any work, it is not a warranty, and it does not replace your own judgment. Paid Placements

Verified ($99 a year), Featured and Spotlight are paid. Featured listings and Spotlight articles are always labeled. Payment never changes a business's Google rating or review count. Devon's picks and the guides are chosen by the people who write this site and cannot be bought, and a Featured business cannot also be a pick. Prices and options for businesses are on the Get Listed page.

Guides and Articles

The guides are general information written for homeowners. They are not legal, engineering, insurance, tax or financial advice. Rules, permits, grant programs and prices change. Check anything you plan to rely on with the office or program named in the guide, or with a licensed professional.

For Business Owners

Claiming, correcting and removing a listing are free. Use the form on the Get Listed page or the contact page, and corrections are made within a week. We may edit a listing for accuracy or length, decline to list a business, or remove a listing at our discretion, including businesses that are not home-service contractors or that serve few or no customers in the area. Paid upgrades are subject to the terms given when you buy them.

Using the Site

You may use the site to find and contact businesses for your own home or property. Please don't copy the directory in bulk, scrape it with automated tools, submit false information, impersonate a business, or use the forms to send spam or advertising.

Content and Trademarks

The site's text, design, logo and compilation of listings belong to York County Trusted Pros. Business names, logos and trademarks belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the business. The Copyright Policy explains how to report material you believe infringes your copyright.

Links to Other Sites

Listings and guides link to business websites, government offices and other sources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content or practices.

No Warranties

The site is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about the accuracy or completeness of any listing, rating, guide or other content, or about any business listed here.

Limits on Liability

To the extent the law allows, York County Trusted Pros is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using the site, from relying on its content, or from hiring or dealing with any business listed here. Any dispute about work, payment or a contract is between you and that business.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
