Flooring and Tile · Stewartstown, PA
Old flooring can hide asbestos in the tile or the backing, and you generally can't tell by looking. In the borough's older houses, have the layers tested before anyone grinds or pulls them up. Newer homes bring a different question: whether the subfloor is flat and stiff enough for large tile. Ask the installer how they check it and what they do if it isn't.
