Wells and Water Treatment · New Freedom, PA
Four deep wells supply the borough's water, with York Water adding about a tenth of daily use. Homes on that system have no well of their own to maintain. Where a property does have its own well, no state rule requires testing, and Penn State recommends a coliform bacteria test every year. Ask any treatment company to test the water before quoting equipment.
