Shower Doors and Glass · York, PA
Older bathrooms rarely have square walls or level floors, and frameless glass needs both to sit right. Ask whether the installer measures after the tile is finished and how they handle walls out of plumb. Many glass companies here also do storefronts and commercial work, so confirm they take residential showers.

George Brown started Brown's Glass in 1945, and the family still runs it from Orange Street in York, its website says. Large commercial glazing jobs are part of the business, but most days it's glass repair and replacement: insulated glass units, window screens, picture frames, custom-cut glass and mirrors, and shower installs.
Now on Lincoln Highway in East York, near Stauffers of Kissel Hill, KM Shower Doors builds custom frameless heavy glass shower enclosures, per its website. The shop does its own measuring and installation, works with homeowners, builders and designers, and gives free estimates.
