Painters · Dover, PA
Lead paint rules cover most of Dover's houses. More than two-thirds were built before 1980, and paid work that disturbs paint in a home built before 1978 needs an EPA-certified firm and a trained renovator. Ask a painter for the firm certification before any scraping or sanding, especially on exterior trim, porch rails and old window sashes.
Based in Dover
Hours at Set The Tone Painting run from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days. The Dover painter on Longwood Court, locally owned by its own account, starts jobs with a detailed estimate and takes on residential and commercial work: interiors, exteriors, cabinets, decks and fences, furniture, murals, metal, siding and roofs.
Cracked drywall and faded paint are the two things Sam's Painting & Drywall Repairs builds its pitch around. The Dover company also does power washing, light carpentry, ceiling repair and, in winter, snow plowing, for homes and offices, and helps pick colors before the work starts.
Rick Sheffer's Painting works from Sycamore Road in Dover. Hours run 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
Interiors, drywall and wallpaper removal lead the service list at Fine Edge Painting, a Dover company that also lists Manchester. Cabinets, doors, baseboards, caulking and deck staining are covered, on residential and commercial jobs, and estimates are free.
