Crawl Spaces and Moisture · York, PA
Moisture under an old house usually starts outside: gutters that dump at the wall, grading that slopes the wrong way, and the February thaw. The fix often begins with drainage before any vapor barrier or dehumidifier goes in. Ask what the contractor found as the source and whether the quote deals with that first.
