Crawl Spaces and Moisture · Hanover, PA
Crawl spaces under additions and enclosed porches on older houses tend to be the damp corner nobody checks. Ask the contractor to show where the water actually comes in before agreeing to a vapor barrier or a dehumidifier, and whether a regraded bed or a longer downspout would fix it for less. Get any moisture readings in writing.
