Sunrooms and Screened Porches · York, PA
Enclosing a porch or building a covered one needs a building permit, unlike most small repairs. Small city lots limit sunroom footprints, so projects here tend to be enclosures of an existing porch rather than new additions. Ask how the contractor will tie into the old porch roof and whether the floor framing can carry the new walls.
