Pest Control · York County
Pest calls here follow the seasons. Stink bugs move into houses in September and October, termites swarm from about February to June, and mice look for a way in once the nights turn cold. In York city and Red Lion, where attached homes such as rowhomes and twins are common, a problem next door can become yours, and treatment works better when the neighbor treats too.
Pennsylvania requires any business applying pesticides commercially to hold a pesticide application business license from the Department of Agriculture and employ a certified applicator, and both show up in the department's online searches. For stink bugs, Penn State says sealing gaps and fixing screens works better than spraying outside.
Be wary of the yearly plan that sprays the outside every month whether anything is there or not. With stink bugs, a tube of caulk does more than most of those visits.
