Fences · York, PA
Small city lots put most fences on or near a line shared with a neighbor, and a fence along an alley has to leave room for whatever uses it. Fences up to 6 feet are generally exempt from state building permits. Ask the installer who locates the property line and whether posts will be set on your side of it.
