Pool Service and Cleaning · York County
Pool service here runs on the calendar: opening in spring, weekly care through summer, and a full closing before the first hard freeze, since water left in lines, pumps and filters can crack them. With about 120 nights a year below freezing, a sloppy closing shows up as a repair bill in May. Leaves and pollen from mature trees add to the summer work.
Ask what the closing includes: blowing out the lines, adding antifreeze, lowering the water and securing the cover. Ask whether chemicals are in the weekly price or billed separately, and whether the technician tests the water on every visit and leaves a written log.
A pool closed carelessly in October announces itself in May. Ask what the closing includes, line by line.
