About
Bob Nafziger started BN Excavating in 1986 with a backhoe, a dump truck and a track loader, per its company history. His son Jeremy took over in 2013, and Dwayne Brown joined as a partner in 2017. The Marietta firm, on Furnace Road, does residential, agricultural and commercial excavating, from new homes and housing developments to farm terraces and storage buildings, and its site names York among the areas it works. Crews start at 6 a.m., and snow removal runs 24/7, it says.
